Italy

april 2009

Italy had always been high on our list, but Europe is relatively expensive and is not changing as rapidly as less-developed areas of the world. It evaded us for many years, but Rupa rectified this with a three-week highlights tour based on Rick Steve's guide book and videos. April was shoulder season and combined with a general drop in tourism it was the perfect time to avoid the heat and beat the crowds.
