We extended our African adventure with a National Geographic tour of Egypt, including a cruise down the Nile River. We had a fabulous tour guide (Mrs. Zeinab Shawky) and even had a chance to meet the head of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, Dr. Zahi Hawas (the boisterous man you always see opening new tombs and discovering new pyramids).
We have an online slideshow.
