My second journey to the far southern reaches was primarily an opportunity to spent time with my recently retired dad. Rupa and I had a wonderful voyage three years earlier, and though the weather was less cooperative this time around it really just served to make this second journey more of an adventure. Once again we traveled with Cheesemans' Ecology Safaris, and as far as I am concerned there is no better way to experience the Southern Ocean than their 26-day expedition.
The official expedition log is now online.
